@tigerboy19664 years ago This is why we watch Chris Sumo: you won't find this kind of commentary and analysis anywhere else on yt. 7

@Hidden-Secrets4 years ago I remember him from your coverage. Crazy how fast he is rising. 9

@mikawa13144 years ago Makushita is where the real test begins. A lot of promising youngsters are able to make it that far fairly early into their careers, but very few actually make it to Juryo. 4

@JTM18094 years ago Let’s hope he follows in the footsteps of Takanohana (sumo-wise, not the family & other drama). 7

@potzysk24 years ago 4-3 in Makushita before turning 17? Wow! If he doesn't get injured and continues to improve, he should make Makuuchi before turning 20. 1

@sry4gotmyusername4 years ago I was able to catch a few of his bout on the live stream. Very impressive young lad. He has a bright future in sumo as long as he remains healthy. 2

@SuperAWaC4 years ago He is so young. He has a LOT of physical developing to do. Even minor injuries now will severely shorten his career far in the future. He must be careful. I hope his stablemaster is responsible. 2

@DennisGr4 years ago hey guys, i've only been into sumo for about a year and so far i've only followed the makuuchi and the juryo bouts so now comes my question: what does junior highschool yokozuna mean? how does one attain that rank and does it have any meaning for his future for professional sumo? ... 2

@duke_hugo4 years ago Pretty sure the last 16 year old to make it to Makushita was Kisenosato.

@colinslee43934 years ago How special is this guy going to be, do we think? 🤔

@Doomer423894 years ago Let's see...he still too young and fight against "little" guys, Onosho was "the future" for some in the past but in top division he is nothing special. ( good but enough to be one of the best)

@bartfart38474 years ago Wow straight out of Jr high school into Sumo. that is worse than college basketball stars who go to the NBA before graduating.
This kid will have limited opportunities outside of Sumo. Bad call by his parents.
