Despite it's repetitiveness, each playthrough of the cue is 30 second long. Judging by its intended usage in Might and Magic III (see below), it may have been composed merely to herald the start of an encounter, and not to play throughout the entire battle. This composition was also included as part of the Might and Magic III June beta's data, but was completely removed from the final game's data. Its intended usage is currently unknown, but it may have been used for the same purpose as in Might and Magic II and King's Bounty. * * * * * These themes were made for the Genesis version of Might and Magic II. However, these particular FM versions come from Planet's Edge and Might and Magic III, where several of the themes were strangely reused. (Hopefully more FM versions will be discovered.) FM version recorded and donated exclusively for Xeen Music by "cyclone3d" using an authentic "Media Vision Pro Audio Spectrum (8-bit)" equipped with real OPL2.
