Kamal Kakdi ke Kofte | बिना उबाले बनाए कमल ककड़ी के आसान कोफ्ते| Lotus Root Balls with Gravy | Ghar ki Angeethi
Lotus roots are also commonly known as Kamal Kakdi. it has high amounts of dietary fiber,potassium, iron and vitamins B and C. Considering they have these important nutrients and minerals, lotus roots can be called as one of the healthiest foods.
In this video, I am sharing easy recipe of balls in the gravy " Kamal Kakdi ke Kofte"
Ingredients:
For Kofta:
1) Lotus Stem ( Kamal Kakdi) – 250gm
2) Gram Flour (Besan) – 4Tbsp
3) Baking Soda – 1 pinch
4) Garam Masala – ¼ tsp
5) Hot Red Chilli (tikhi lal Mirch) – ¼ tsp
6) Salt -as per taste
7) Refind oil for frying Kofta
For Gravy
1. Onion (Pyaz) - 1 Medium size
2. Tomato (Tamatar) – 2 Medium size
3. Green Chilli (Hari Mirch) – 4 Nos.
4. Ginger and Garlic Paste (Adrak Lehsun Pisa Hua) -1tbsp
5. Kashmiri Red Chilli (Kashmiri lal Mirch) – 1 tsp
6. Hot Red Chilli (tikhi lal Mirch) – ½ tsp
7. Turmeric Powder (Pisi hui Haldi) – ½ tsp
8. Cumin Powder (Pisa Hua Jeera) – ½ tsp
9. Garam Masala – ¼ tsp
10. Green Coriander Leaves (Hara Dhaniya) – 1 tsp
11. Salt -as per taste
12. Water (Pani) – 700 ml
13. Mustard Oil (Sarso Ka Tel) – 3 tbsp
