في مقابلة حصريّة مع معالي الدكتور مغير خميس الخييلي، رئيس دائرة تنمية المجتمع – أبوظبي، أوضح أن استبانة "جودة الحياة" وُضِعت لتقيس مدى رضى الناس عن حياتهم وعن الخدمات التي تقدّمها الحكومة، وأفاد أن إمارة أبوظبي أخذت هذا المعيار العالمي لتقيس نفسها وترى أين موقعها من الدول المتقدّمة. Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Chairman of the Department of Community Development in Abu Dhabi, clarified that the "Quality of Life Survey" was put forward to measure people's satisfaction levels in life and the services provided by the government. He also stated that Abu Dhabi relied on global measures to see where it stands among other developed countries.
