"Oh, you do the staircase trick while more than a block away so you don't get caught in your copy, but you don't wanna be too far or you won't reach your copy or will have to jump too high and can't lead into the next jump soon enough, costing you time." Also, you want to leave & REJOIN the level if you spend more than 20 seconds in this level, and that includes EVERYTHING except pausing in the menu. This is because the spawner will spawn additional slimes and they STAY even if you reset. They get teleported back to the spawner, but from then on, they will be IN your WAY.
