Spotted a balancing bird toy in the charity shop but I didn't buy it. I thought it would be interesting to make one myself. I know somebody will ask if it can fly so I added a bit more styrofoam to give me something to grip and a bit of blutac for adjustable nose weight. If you have a question it is probably worth reading this video description first because the answer may already be here. To help you find my videos I made two search guides /watch/wgcHOoOSBecSH or /watch/kRYwkwgU4jZUw or checkout my playlists page /user/GrandadIsAnOldMan/playlists?flow=grid&view=1 Here are a couple of YouTube videos of the commercial toy /watch/07rI_PqnsOPnI /watch/Y1cU3YRFaREFU Main components - Polystyrene Pizza Tray Glue Clearly many parts of the world do not have polystyrene pizza trays. They are just the packaging that my local supermarkets use for pizzas. I use them because they are free and would otherwise be thrown away. You could use any polystyrene or styrofoam packaging you can find or even buy foam board from model shops. The foam I am using is about 5mm thick. Main Tools - Sharp knife Filmed using HTC One Mini mobile phone Edited using Serif MoviePlus Starter Edition I will add this new video to my Pizza Trays playlist /playlist/PLA5a2xPRSrB04GN5yvwwJipBl8tm3-LcD I have thousands of videos on YouTube covering a wide range of subjects. To find them follow my search guides /watch/wgcHOoOSBecSH or /watch/kRYwkwgU4jZUw or see my playlists page /user/GrandadIsAnOldMan/playlists?flow=grid&view=1 Generally my projects are for my grandchildren to enjoy. OK, I enjoy them too. If anybody else likes them, that is a bonus. I like to keep my work as simple and basic as possible so that it can be copied easily and improved by anybody who wants to try themselves. I recycle or repurpose items rather than buy new and when I do buy I like to keep it cheap. /user/GrandadIsAnOldMan
