@bobmetzger515 months ago Just a quick jump-in. My ipad desk stand by anker, while not as small as yours is lovely. It too has changed the way i use the ipad at my desk. Adjustable height is a game changer compared to the ipad magic keyboard.

@davidchantapanya7469 months ago Just got mine in the mail today. The corners of the box was a little smashed but I think thats more of the shippings fault. iPad was in perfect condition though. I ordered the yellow one thinking it was going to be a bright vibrant color. Instead I looks like more of a Gold color. I personally prefer the gold look. @sparky6757last year About your description of the apple pencil as essential - i think im a fairly average ipad user. I use it for things that arent very feasible on my p id="hidden27"hones screen, but dont require my windows laptop - a middle ground where its still small enough to comfortably move around, but does 90% of what i used to do on my laptop.
anyway, a week in my ipads life looks something like this:
- every day at lunch time, my ipads running youtube while i eat. I set a video going and put my ipad aside
- any time i have a zoom meeting, a document that needs typing, or other such productive ventures, ive got my ipad set up on a table with a connected keyboard. This happens most every day as well
- maybe once or twice a week, i use my apple pencil for drawing
am i glad i got an apple pencil? Yes. Ive always wanted to draw but was always terrible at it through high school, gave it another go when i bought my ipad, and digital drawing with the apple pencil was an instant dramatic improvement. I dont draw every day or anything, its just a hobby, but im glad i got an apple pencil.
but if i didnt like drawing? It would see zero use. Why would i want to handwrite with the apple pencil? Keyboard is quicker and neater. Or if i let scribble interpret my words and turn them into type, it gets the word right maybe half the time.
apple pencil is a great drawing tool. I suppose if you like handwriting, its the best way to do that too. If you dont like handwriting and you dont like drawing though, its got nothing. And thats fine, thats why its an accessory thats sold separately - because its not something that every single ipad owner needs. ...Expand 3
